It was a few hours latsr when Kyle and Carlos were supposed to meet up. Kyle never showed up though. After a minute though, Craig wandered in. He then looked around before spotting Carlos. “Hey, Carlos?” Craig asked, moving over to him.

carlos has started reading a book,- nd frowned when he heard his name. “yeah..?”

He blinked, watching him. “If you’re here waiting for Kyle, he isn’t going to show up. He said something urgent had happened and he ended up taking off in a hurry like a minute ago. I figured I’d just come let you know so you don’t wait around for him all hour.” Craig said.

he blinked. “oh..” he said softly and hesitated before moving to call kyle.

Craig bkinked, watching him. Kyle’s phone rang a few times, but he didn’t answer. Craig frowned. “...Hey, come with me. I think I know where he went. I’ve got a car, I can drive you.” Craig said

he hesitated and slowly nodded. “ok..” he mumbled, trying to call kyle again.

Craig then lead him out to the car, getting in. He waited for Carlos to get in as well before starting to drive off

he made a soft, slightly anxious noise.

After a while, they arrived at the elemantary school. Craig’s eyes suddenly widened when he noticed the building had been caught on fire. Craig parked the car a ways from it and then quickly got out, moving over to the building. He looked around. He didn’t see Kyle anywhere. And Kyle certainly didn’t tell him it was this fucking bad!

“Kyle?” Craig called out, looking through the crowd of scared children and worried on lookers. He didn’t see Kyle or Ike anywhere. Craig frowned, looking over at the building. They...They weren’t in there were they?

After a few long minutes, someone suddenly stumbled through the fire, moving past the crowd of people before collapsing to their knees. Craig quickly moved over, seeing it was Kyle. Kyle was clinging onto Ike, Ike gripping his shirt tightly and huddled into Kyle’s chest. Kyle’s eyes were wide and he trembled a bit. He seemed to be wheezing and struggling to breathe so it was clear he had inhaled quite a bit of smoke.

carlos’s eyes widened and he rushed over. “shit!” he said and scrambled to crouch in fromt of kyle. “fuck! are you guys ok?” he asked.
