Kyle blinked, opening the door. He then glanced at them. “Hey, What the hell is going on in here?” Kyle asked, watching them with slight wide eyes.

the parents payed him no mind, still yelling and trying to beat the shit out of each other. carlos didn’t seem to notice kyle either, too focused on the wall. it was a nice wall.

Kyle frowned a bit. He hesitated, looking Carlos over before glancing at the parents. He then moved over to them. He was well aware he could get injured trying this, but there was no sense in them just beating the shit out of each other. And it was obvious them fighting had some effect on Carlos.

“Hey, quit fighting!” Kyle said, attempting to break the two apart.

the two seemed to only fight more when kyle tried to break it up, and carlos stood slowly, simply walking out the front door and down the street.

Kyle frowned a bit, watching Carlos walk out. Fine. He would let the parents fight. He was more worried about Carlos anyway. He then moved away from them, heading out after Carlos. “Hey, Carlos Wait up!” He ssid. He then quickly moved over to him. “Jesus dude, are you alright?” Kyle asked

he paused, looking at the male and blinking like he had suddenly come out of a trance. he hesitated. “when did i..?” he looked around.

Kyle watched him, frowning. “...Your parents were fighting. You walked out of the house just now.” Kyle said

he blinked. “oh..” he breathed and looked to his house. he hesitated and then looked at his feet. it was cold out, and he didn’t have a jacket.. it was hard to tell whether his shaking was from fear, cold, or low blood sugar.

He blinked, frowning. He then looked him over. “Carlos? Why don’t you come spend the night at my house? I just finished cooking dinner for my brother and me. We have some
Leftovers you can have. Maybe you’ll eat a bit better if it’s calmer? We’re fairly quiet so you’ll have time to relax.” He saidn
