gavin hadn’t left his house in a few days. he always did this around christmas and new year. fowler didn’t mind, it meant no fights so that was the one good thing. gavin was currently laying on the couch with one leg hanging off the side. he had the cats laying on him, two on his chest, snuggled up to the side of his head, with hat curled up on his belly.

Nines hadn't felt very good since the Christmas party. He'd pretty much stayed holed up in his room at Hank and Connor's place, and didn't really talk to either of them much. He had read the book from Gavin so many times it was already starting to look warn, and he just seemed overall upset. Eventually, however, he had ended up getting up and grabbing his jacket, slipping out before Connor could stop him. Before long he was in front of Gavin's apartment, knocking on the door with his LED pulsing red.

[dannychan]

gavin looked over and hesitated. “it’s open.”

[peridot.]

Nines blinked and frowned, opening the door and carefully closing it behind him. He walked to where the couch was, slowly moving onto his knees and resting his head near Gavin's torso, right up against one of the cats. He opened his mouth to say something, but only made a bit of a static-y whining noise, LED still red.

[dannychan]

he blinked and slowly ranged his hand in the males hair, brushing through it slowly. “it’s ok..” he mumbled, though he didn’t know what was wrong.

[peridot.]

Nines closed his eyes, his LED pulsing a blood red for a while before turning yellow and finally circling back to blue, sighing at the feeling of a hand in his hair. He mumbled when he opened his eyes, frowning, "I've determined that I don't like the holiday season very much either..."

[dannychan]

he frowned. “why..?”

[peridot.]

"Because sensing you being upset upsets me as well..." Nines said, a frown still on his face as his LED flickered between blue and yellow.

[dannychan]

he frowned. “come here..”

[peridot.]

/hmm,,, either Connor talking to Nines about how he feels, or Nines ends up going to Gavin's house to talk to him bc he's sad and loves him
