he hummed. “alright, alright, just no nuzzling or something. it makes my scales flip up and that shit hurts.”

He smiled and said softly, closing his eyes and handing the paintbrush over to the other, "Thanks. I don't really wanna go home."

[dannychan]

he nodded, taking the brush and humming. “shitty home life?” he asked softly, starting to get to work.

[peridot.]

"Extremely." He mumbled, nodding a bit. He then said, sighing, "Most of the time I just sleep here. I like it better."

[dannychan]

he nodded and blinked. “you know, there’s a great kids shelter for humans and monsters not far from here..” be said softly.

[peridot.]

He winced and said, biting his lip, his bottom pair of eyes opening and looking away guiltily, "I wouldn't want to leave my Dad. He's not exactly my hero in any situation but my Mother treats him like a child and berates him."

[dannychan]

he frowned softly. “then tell him to leave. or i’d gladly sick me step dad on her.” he said, his little pointed tongue flicking out- so he was more of a snake/lizard kind of thing.

He blinked and said, shifting a bit, "Can we... Not talk about this right now? It's making me feel... Bad."

[dannychan]

he blinked, and nodded before starting to sing under his breath- it was ‘the happy song’ by some liam dude.

Newt blinked and pouted, saying softly, "But I'm comfy here. You're surprisingly plush for a lizard man."
