later on, merlin had finally finished every thing except bring arthur dinner and draw the bath. he sighed as he knocked and walked in with the usual try. he moved and set it where arthur normally ate. "i.. i have no idea what this is. i think they're putting you on a weird diet." he joked slightly and moved off to set up the bath, hoping arthur wasn't angry about earlier.

"If I'm being honest, I don't know what it is either. The last time I asked they said something about putting me in the best physical shape they could." He said, humming a little as he poked at his food. He let his eyes linger on Merlin's back, and he hesitated for a long moment and said quietly, "Hey Merlin, could I ask you something?"

He glared a little bit at the other and stuck his tongue out at the other, before sighing and saying quietly, "Why did you freak out when I was pinning you earlier? You bolted out of there like you'd seen a ghost."

"Oh, I'm sorry." He said quietly, tilting his head and frowning a little bit, "I didn't mean to frighten you or anything. I was just messing around, like usual."

"it's fine." he said in a soft voice, and looked back to the tub, making sure it stayed warm until arthur was ready. he flinched slightly as every flash back that could possibly be in the back of his head. what? give up already? you're supposed to be a dragon, you weakling! he flinched a bit more violently and felt tears forming and his hands start to shake.

Frowning as he watched Merlin, he got to his feet and went over to the other, gently touching his hands and pulling him away from the tub, saying softly, "Merlin? Hey, Merlin, you're shaking..." He gently touched the other's cheek and frowned worriedly, "I'm sorry if I upset you. Take deep breaths."
