he looked at jon and hesitated. "why are you here, jon? trying to join the guard when you could become a knight and become rich from tournaments..?"

He blinked. "I've no interest in being a knight." He said

he frowned. "why?"

He blinked. "I don't know. Being a knight, I just don't see myself doing it. I'm more suited to be a guard." He said

he smiled slightly. "i always wanted to be a knight. i'd duel in my mothers name.. but by the time i turned 8, i became a 'exotic attraction' at the whore house my mother worked at." he mumbled. "i was so glad when i turned 17 so i could leave and come here.."

he scoffed. "it's no better here than it is there."

He blinked. "I...I know. But you just learn to ignore them."'he said

he frowned. "you know what one of the officers said to me yesterday? 'i don't feel like going down to the whore house, so why don't you come over here, sweetheart.'" he mimicked, giving the officer a horrible sounding voice. "i.. im think about.. deserting.." he whispered.
