"Merlin, hey..." He kept one arm wrapped around the other as he used his other to gently pet Merlin, dragging his fingers comfortingly through the other's hair and saying softly, "You're okay now... Everything's okay.."

[dannychan]

He frowned and moved to give Merlin a soft kiss, saying quietly as he held him close, "No one's going to hurt you here and now, Merlin. I'll kill them if they do. Everything's okay. You're safe, alright?"

[align=center][div style="width: 350px; text-align: justify; line-height: -1%; color: black"]he didn't even react to the kiss just sort of tried to hide in arthur, trembling like a hairless dog.

He sighed and gently led Merlin over to the bed, sitting them both down and holding him close. He hummed softly as he ran his fingers through the other's dark haur, trying to get him to calm down.

[align=center][div style="width: 350px; text-align: justify; line-height: -1%; color: black"]it took merlin a very long while to calm down- thirty minutes at the least, an hour at the most- and he just stay hidden in arthur's chest, still trembling slightly.

Arthur didn't move away from Merlin the entire time. He started to get sleepy at one point, but shook it off, sighing softly. After a while, he gently brushed at the other's hair, saying softly, "Merlin...?"

He blinked and frowned, saying softly, "No, no of course you're not. C'mon, Merlin, you're scaring me. Everything's okay." He moved to gently kiss Merlin on the forehead, holding him close and trying to calm him down.
