yeah that's what I mean by house events
the house idea came from harry potter and the house cup of course, the only problem is the houses are extremely unbalanced with the majority in cleric

i think the house idea was a good idea but it's incredibly difficult to integrate it into the actual clan.

i mean, if people want to get rid of it, it's up to you guys. obviously i don't want to get rid of it but i cant think of anything that cant be easily done in an open thread.

i'm not saying we should get rid of it. i'm saying people just adopt use it, no one makes threads about it. if we're going to use this we need to plan things better.

i think we can totally pull off the house idea! i've found (at least with rc) slightly tricky topics can be implemented, especially if the rest of the clan is willing. i'm totally down to help make threads and such for the houses, because it's such a fun concept, even if we do have an imbalance, i'm sure as the houses become more distinct, joiners with different houses will come.

im not super involved as a character yet but i think if we have the hps and just people in general making a conscious effort to post house-related threads, even if they're not like hp-related events or anything, just fun stuff, people will start to take notice more?

the problem is you have to define 'house related threads'
anyway i just got home from a drive so, i feel like i should put my thoughts/ideas here

so like, i have three ideas for a 'brotherhood' right now;

- more like the companions from skyrim, again, more a bunch of thieves, mercenaries, and a general ragtag group that sticks together
- more like brotherhood of steel, more serious about honor and justice, however i feel like this is a little too serious since most members of the stea bastion are more just looking for a safe place to live and aren't really 'betraying' if they leave idk
- the last idea is basically the lost boys in peter pan/hook idk

give me some other ideas if you can, i dunno

i think the idea of creating the stea bastion to be more of a hodge-podge mix of people joined together by loyalty like a fraternity or a brotherhood is a really cool concept and kind of already fits in with what we have. and i agree the house system is a bit uneven right now but instead perhaps we could just split it into two instead of four? that way it might even things out and it could be more of a competitive thing between the members. we could make like challenges and games or something between the two every other week or so or something along those lines if we wanted to

0i dort of got a good idea for like a points system thing for the houses?, and it involves the weekly quests! maybe for everyone task the characters house can get a point, and at the end of the month, the house that wins the thing could get a prize of some sort
