Carl smiked, moving over and sitting next to Nick. He then glanced down at the pond

he hummed. "we had a pond like this back home." he said with a sigh.

“Really?” Carl asked, looking over at Nick

he nodded. "yeah. alicia and I would go swimming in it during the late fall because the water snakes hadn't moved back in yet." he said thoughtfully. "we stopped after a while.." he mumbled, a sad smile coming to his face as he looked down. "thats my fault.."
