It had been a few years later of the group traveling together, going from place to place. During the past month, they had found some place to set up a small camp. However, during the first night of them setting up camp, Shiva had gone off to hunt during the night and handing returned. The group looked for her, but hadn’t found her anywhere.
Carl didn’t think she was dead. He didn’t want to believe that. He just figured she’d be back when she was ready. She was a wild animal after all and they did have their wild instincts to follow, so he wasn’t too worried.
Carl had now grown into a young man and was now doing a lot to help out the group. However, they were still struggling a bit so they packed up and were moving once more.!
After a while, they came across what appeared to be a wall. Rick looked over, sudddnly stopping. Maggie and Carl stopped as well. “Is that a settlement?†Maggie asked.
“If it is, then mayb they can let us rest there.†Carl said.
“It could still be dangerous. People aren’t as trustworthy now a days.†Rick murmured. Rick frowned. It was worth a try though. They were low on supplies and exhausted so maybe they could help. Rick waited a momemt before moving to the walls.
“Hold it.†A man called out from on top of the walls. Rick stopped, looking up at him. It was a man, Probabky arojnd 40ish. He had short black hair and was wearing a black leather jacket. “Who are you? And why wre you here?†The man asked.
“Rick Grimes. I’m traveling with my group. But, we’re low on supplies and exhausted and need a place to rest up.†Rick said. The other man looked him over.
“None of you are but?†He asked.
“No sir.†Rick said. The man hesitated but nodded.
“Alright. You can stay here as long as you pull your weight.†He ssid. “I’m Negan by the way. The leader of this group. You need anything, you come talk to me.†Negan said. He then gestures to another man, who opened up the gates for them.
