━ name: Salem Birch Lonan, prefers "Tapeworm."

━ age: Thirty-one-years-old, born on November ninth in the year 2008.
━ voice: His voice is rough and coarse - the equivalent of gravel being scraped together - and hard to understand due to the damage he's had to his vocal cords. It's difficult for him to speak and near impossible for him to raise his voice.

❝ PHYSICAL ◜people who have killed, give me incurable cancers◞
━ Salem stands at 5'10"; yet, he often appears to be several inches shorter due to the fact he's often hunched over. He has a surprising amount of lean muscle, but nothing extraordinary; though, most of it is in his right leg and arms. The entirety of his body was at the mercy of a house fire several years back and he had never gone through corrective surgery. Thus, his features are twisted and the skin upon his face, neck, shoulders, and chest are stretched in an odd manner. Every inch of skin on his body is reddened and warped with excessive scar tissue. Moreover, he lost his eyes in the fire and the bones in his left leg were broken at odd angles due to a beam falling atop it. Little could be done for his eyes and a brace was put on his leg after attempts to put the bones back into place. However, due to him going against recommendations to stay off his leg and the lack of proper medical treatment, his left leg healed into an almost twisted shape. He can bend his leg only part of the way and it is unable to support him properly.
━ He carries an oak cane coated in resin, a hunting knife, a fishing rod, and a backpack with the following inside of it: a hip flask,  a couple cans of food, small bits of animal carcasses, a few plastic grocery bags, a small tool to sharpen his knife with, and a can which he carries worms in.
━ He can't walk properly - much less run - due to his misshapen leg, hence the cane.
━ His sense of hearing, while definitely short of anything supernatural, is heightened due to his blindness.
━ He clicks his tongue and, on occasion, taps his cane in order to echo-locate.

❝ MENTAL ◜bring me beaches slicked in oil, give me disregard for doubt◞
━ He is asexual and is completely avoidant of intimate relationships. Your character is allowed to flirt with him should they somehow find themselves attracted. However, note it will be met with belligerence, perhaps even physical violence depending upon what your character does.
━ Please refer to his biography (found above) for an in-depth description of Salem's personality. Briefly, he is the following: deceitful, verbally aggressive, has a warped perception of reality due to trauma, hates and fears being vulnerable unless it is/he believes it is of his own accord, terrified of intimacy, self-hating, loud, loose-tongued, thinks he knows his limits but he often oversteps them, blasphemous, apathetic, sadistic, dismissive, and generally unpleasant to be around
━ He can and will attempt to take advantage of a character's vulnerability/weakness if given the opportunity - this includes physical violence. I will try my best to DM every person ahead of him acting to make sure this is okay with you and to make sure how far you're okay with him going. Though, he will not, under any circumstance, r*p* someone.
━ Yes, I am aware I'm giving him significantly more negative traits than positive traits, which is often taboo. However, he is meant to be a disliked character that should not be sympathized with.

❝ CONFRONTATION ◜street lights shine on broken roads where no one is about◞
━ Passive actions can be powerplayed, but may be met with aggression.
━ Aggressive actions that will not result in maiming, damaged bones, deep cuts/slashes, or otherwise fatal injury can be power played if Salem is currently not in combat. Please use bold font in the #6e1809 color for confrontational actions with Salem. Otherwise, these actions may inadvertently go ignored.
━ Salem is, by all accounts, incredibly weak and will be at a disadvantage in every combat situation whether or not he is out of another character's line of sight or went somehow unheard before the start of the conflict. This means that, unless the other roleplayer insists he had the jump on their character or there are plot reasons, he will fall under the one-to-four hit rule. This means that I will only be giving him an opportunity to succeed at an attack (i.e. putting him at the mercy of the other roleplayer's judgement) or allowed to dodge after an event or number of events based on the role of a d4 that determines one of the following:
1. he fails a d4 number of times
2. he fails to a degree that leads to him injuring himself
3. after the other character(s) hit(s) him a d4 number of times
4. after the other character(s) brutally injure(s) him
━ If Salem gets into a conflict with three or more people, he is automatically assumed to fail the confrontation.

━ name: Piper Ale Whitte; he does not remember his name. He currently goes by no name.
━ sex + gender: He is biologically male but he is genderfluid (he/him, she/her, they/them). Roleplayer defaults to he/him for ease of writing.
━ age: He is twenty-three-years-old; he was born on December eighteenth, 2016.
━ voice: His voice sounds neither masculine nor feminine, but somewhere in-between.

❝ PHYSICAL ◜and i think to myself, 'what a wonderful world'; i see skies of blue◞
━ [ facial structure, irises, skin color ] Piper has an androgynous appearance; therefore, it is difficult to determine from looking at him whether he seems to be male or female. Though, the giveaway to his gender is his Adam's apple, which females do not have. His jaw structure is smooth with a slight cleft chin. He has shallow set eyes, which are of an almond shape; his irises have a blue-green hue. His nose is straight, narrow, and small. His cheeks have some small semblance of chubbiness to them and he has extremely pale skin due to his albinism. His body is lithe and is composed mostly of lean muscle, with more muscle in his legs than in most of his body due to the amount of time he's spent walking, running, and traveling for days on end. He has small wrists and hands, but a good grip despite their size. He stands at approximately five feet and four inches.
━ Piper's hair is bleach blonde and it reaches his tail bone when straightened; however, he tends to style it with braids [ ref 1, ref 2 ref 3 ]. He wears concealing attire mainly consisting of thin robes, hoods, and strips of cloth or worn bandages that have been wrapped around his limbs for maximum skin coverage. He wears these types of clothes due to his albinism causing a sensitivity to the sun - which results in severe sunburns at only minimum sun exposure. He also enjoys donning his fingers and neck with various silvery rings and necklaces respectively.
━ As far as what Piper carries on him, it would include a backpack with basic necessities, including the following: canteen, cans of food, water bottles, wires, bandages, empty medicine bottles, a music box containing feathers, a bosun's whistle, a compass, a silver watch that has since stopped working, a couple pocket watches, pretty minerals/rocks, and a plastic bag full of scales.
━ He has an incredibly rare disease, which is congenital insensitivity to pain (CIPA). This means that he cannot feel pain or temperature, he has decreased sweating (anhidrosis), and he heals slowly from skin and bone injuries. There will be appropriate trigger warnings at the top of every post that involves around him having a seizure due to a heatstroke.

━ Piper is asexual, expresses no interest in relationships in general (friends, significant others, etc), and he is often confused by them. It is difficult for him to form attachments; thus, it takes significant work in order for him to become attached to another. In order to so much as consider an intimate relationship, he'd have to first understand them and have been involved in friendships as to have some familiarity with "closeness."
━ Please refer to his biography (found above) for an in-depth description of Piper's personality. Briefly, he is the following: realist, intelligent, curious, strange, actions are often misinterpreted, analytical, emotionally absent, invasive, misunderstands what is appropriate to ask, aloof (often behaves this way in the face of other's distress because he doesn't know how to handle it/makes him uncomfortable), unnaturally calm in stressful situations (mainly due to his disconnect with his own emotions), cynical, logical, has an insatiable thirst for knowledge, often intrudes on others physical boundaries out of curiosity, easily fascinated/entertained, adores beauty, has claustrophia (both in the sense of small spaces with no exit and in the sense of being restrained).
━ Piper suffers from retrograde amnesia and, as such, has difficulty forming new memories and keeping old ones. His threshold of forgetting things spans anywhere from three weeks to a month if what he learns isn't very frequently used.

━ Passive actions can be powerplayed, but he will most likely react negatively - but not violently - to them.
━ Aggressive actions that will not result in fatal injury can be power played if Piper is currently not in combat and hasn't seen or heard your character. Do not brutally injure or kill Piper without permission. Please use bold font in the #77BFA3 color for confrontational actions with Piper. Otherwise, these actions may inadvertently go ignored.
━ Piper is simultaneously at both an advantage and at a disadvantage in battle due to having CIPA. On one hand, he can go for longer and hit harder due to not feeling the pain or restraint in his muscles. On another hand, he could very well over-exert himself or simply drop dead from injuries due to not realizing how wounded he is.
