danny, within minutes, was out, breathing slowly. grace looked over and frowned softly. “is danno ok..?”

Steve nodded. “He’ll be Okay Sweetheart. He’s just tired. He didn’t sleep well last night.” He mrmured

grace nodded. “he doesn’t really sleep much anymore..” she said and looked down. “he watches tv on the couch until really early and then gets ready for work..”

Steve glanced down at Danny for a moment before looking at Grace. “Well, I can promise you I will do everything I can to help your father get better.” He murmured

grace smiled slightly and nodded. “you know, uncle steve.. he loves you a lot.” she said softly.

He blinked, watching him. “...I love him too. He’s my best friend. You and him, you’re like family to me.” He murmured

she giggled softly. “that’s not what i meant.” she said softly.
