It was a few weeks later and Noctis finally had some time off. He decided to have Cor take over for a while so he could hang out with the boys. They had decided to go camping. Noctis had decided to let Ignis rest, so he was driving them in the car

Ignis was sort of napping in the back seat, leaning on gladio. prompto, on the other hand, seemed happy, hyped on sugar and wiggling around in his seat. “how much longer~?”

Noctis blinked. “Hmmm. Not much longer now. I heard there was a nice area to camp. Seems safe for the most part with the wildlife, so nothing should come after you for a meal.” He said, using one hand to ruffle Prompto’s hair softly

prompto chuckled. “i mean.. considering i’m a snack~” he joked.

He buckled softly. “Well looks like we’ll use you as bait then should anything come for us.” He said teasingly. He then looked ahead. After a while, they arrived an open grassy area. It had a large lack in the middle along with some raised rock ledges. It was a ways from civilization so there wasn’t any humans around. Just nature. It seemed pretty peaceful for just the four of them.

Noctis then parked the car, shutting it off. He then unhooked the seatbelt, turning slightly in the chair to look back at Gladio and Ignis. “Still sleeping huh?” Nocti asked, looking at Iggy. Gladio nodded, gently nudging the other

Ignis nearly instantly woke up, blinking his eyes and sitting up. he didn’t take a moment to stretch, just looked around and got out to help unpack.

Noct and Gladio got out as well. Noctis hummed. “You don’t have to be in such a hurry Specs. We’re here to relax.” He ssid

he blinked. “i’m rushing so i can relax quicker.” he said.

Gladio chuckled. “He’s got a point.” Gladio said. Noctis shrugged.

“I guess.” He said. He then started to help set up the camp. Noctis then smiked. “We’re by a lake. I can always head down and fish if you guys want that for dinner.” Noctis said
