"Connor and Hank can enjoy it with each other. I'd rather enjoy it with you. I want you to be happy." Nines whined softly, his LED spinning red.

[dannychan]

he blinked and hesitated. “you would..?”

[peridot.]

He nodded and said, tears beginning to slip down his cheeks, "Yes, I would. I would..."

[dannychan]

he blinked and booted the cats off of him, turning to face him and wipe his tears. “please don’t cry..”

[peridot.]

Nines made a soft surprised noise as his tears were wiped away, and he said softly, leaning forward to rest his head against Gavin's chest, "I've just... I've never felt this sadness before.."

[dannychan]

he frowned. “i.. i’m sorry.. please don’t be sad.. please stop crying..” he whispered.

[peridot.]

Closing his eyes, Nines took a shaky breath that he didn't truly need before slowly relaxing. Once his LED turned a light blue again, he reached up to wrap his arms around Gavin's chest, mumbling, "I think... I think that I'm okay.."

he blinked and held him, feeling incredibly guilty about causing all of this.

Nines blinked and carefully moved up onto the couch, making sure not to hit or jostle any of the cats all around.
