After a bit, the two arrived back at the apartment. Steve then parked the car, pulling out the keys and handing them to Danny. “...Do you want me to head home?” He asked

danny took the keys and thought a moment. “you can stay if you’re tired.. it does get pretty lonely..”

Steve watched him. “...Alright.” He murmured. “I’ll stay.” He said

he nodded. “i hope you don’t mind sharing a bed, because i refuse to let you sleep on the floor.” he said.

he nodded and kissed his cheek gently, moving to his porch and freezing when he saw the door standing wide open. he scowled. “go get our guns from the car.” he stated.

Steve blinked, following him out. He frowned hwkever when he spotted the door open. He nodded, moving to get their guns. He then handed one to Danny and then raised his gun a bit. “Be careful.” Steve murmjred

he moved to take the gun and search the apartment and sighed after a moment. “doesn’t look like anyone’s here or they took anything.” he said and sighed. “must have just accidentally left the door open.”
