And he'd have been doing good up to that point, but I think he'd get nervous and lock up a little at the idea of actual weapons and that's why he doesn't do so hot even though he seemed to have gotten it down beforehand
So maybe it cuts his hand pretty bad, and since he's already sore and tired from moving so much before that, he could kind of just get angry at himself and that makes him lash out yknow
Usually he'd keep going but that day he'd probably be getting down on himself more (teenage mood swings lmao) so yeet
