It was most of the day before there was finally a knock at the front door, and Newt had made a little annoyed sound, just wanting to stay in Salem's arms. Eventually he did get up, however, and grabbed his bag as he looked up and saw his Dad come in. The older male looked slightly worn out and sad, and Newt was sure it was because of a conversation with his Mother. Still, Adam smiled a bit and said softly, "Hey, kid. We're going to a hotel for a little while, okay?" Newt nodded and moved over, gently hugging him.

Adam smiled weakly and mumbled, "Uhm, we don't have much stuff. My wife... She didn't take things so well. She didn't let me get much." Newt frowned and said softly, "Did she hurt you?" Adam bit his lip and looked down, "It's... It's not a big deal."
