Kyle stopped when the other whimpered. He then sighed, keeping his hand over Carlos’s. He then relaxed a bit. He would stay up all night then. He had school and work tomorrow so he’d be pretty exhausted. But he didn’t mind staying up in case Carlos needed something

It was the next day, around six at night. Today was surprisingly pretty short for work, so he was allowed to go home early. Kyle soon arrived back at the house and then wandered inside

carlos was napping on the couch, covered in a mass of blankets. he was outcold, so any loud noises or talking didn’t bother him. sheila was in the kitchen, scrubbing some dishes. “kyle?†she called.

she hummed. “hey! so, i got carlos to a doctor. they said he’s gonna be alright, and they’re gonba have someone foster him.. and i was thinking, maybe we should foster him.†she suggested.
