It happened suddenly. No one had expected this to happen. A few people started attacking others. The city had fallen into ruins from the chaos. Somehow, people had changed into zombies. Many died. Survivors were scattered now. They were turning against each other or forming groups and raiding others.

Lance had met up with a group. He wasn't exactly the most liked of the group. Sometimes he wasn't treated the best either, but they were all he had now. One of their members, Keith, he tried. He was the one Lance was closest with in the group, but they still had their fights with each other.

Lance was currently in a spot the group had chosen to be a lookout area. He was pacing slowly, looking around. He frowned to himself.

keith felt incredibly conflicted at the moment. all he had was a kitchen knife and shiro. he was horriblfied, yeah, but he wouldn't show it. he was currently standing on a tree branch, looking around.

Lance frowned, looking around. He glanced down at the small campsite down below, watching the others. He sighed, looking ahead. He spotted a zombie walking over to the group. He frowned. He could fire at it, but he didn't want to attract more. He set the gun down, taking out his hunting knife. He then made his way down, moving to the back of the zombie. He then quickly rubbed it, stabbing his knife trough its skull before letting the zombie body fall. He pulled the knife out, setting it back in his pocket

Lance nodded. "Yeah, it's alright." He said. He glanced at Keith. The poor guy. He was scared out of his mind from this. So was Lance. But, he could t let that get to him

he hesitated and leapt down, landing unsteadily and moving to nudge it with his foot. he waved in front of its face before searching it for salvage.
