with a kidlike energy, drew made her way to the stairs and did a quick peek around. when she noticed no one was in her direct view and with a shrug of her shoulders, she slid down the railing and hopped off at the end, almost losing her footing. once she was steady, she chuckled to herself and finally put on her jacket and left the lodge. the greeting of the cold air that hit her face and seemingly went straight through her jacket sent a shiver down her spine. "shit..." she mumbled under her breath. the cold hadn't been a particular factor that she put into mind when she wanted to find a place to live, but all of the mountain space and hills made for some good snowboarding, so she didn't care all that much in the end. she'd get use to it sooner or later, right?
at first, drew had the intentions to make a few snowballs to throw at someone, but it wasn't long until one of the snowballs was slowly growing as she pushed it around in the snow. she was beginning to struggle with pushing it, her boots losing traction. her right foot slipped and before she could catch herself, she faceplanted in the snow and a chorus of laughter left her lips as she pushed herself up into a sitting position. "i'd say that's probably good enough for that one." she mentioned to herself, patting around it to solidify it a bit more before starting on the second part of the snowman.
