Welcome the The New World's official Character Development Challenge! The aim of the game is to add a little bit of a competitive spirit to the main game and to help guide character development with you guys. So, our lovely Moony has developed an exciting competition for everyone in TNW to play.

So, here's how the competition will go. At the beginning of the month, every two months, a new set of prompts will be released for your choosing. You will have a choice of questions, singular words and tasks for your character to carry out in an open thread or oneshot:

Questions — prompts designed to make you think about what makes your character do what they do. To complete this prompt, make an in-character post exploring the question. Worth 10 points.

Singular words — random words that may or may not match a theme for the month. To complete this prompt, you can do two things:
• Write an in-character post revolving around/inspired by the word, and use the word at least once. Worth 10 points.
• Write an in-character post using the word correctly once. Worth 5 points.

Tasks — simple tasks that can be completed alone or with other characters. Worth 5 points.

Note — any of these can be simply one-shots only meant to be read, or they can be starters to threads.  Whichever you want!

You may do this with any of your characters from any group, and you may repeat particular prompts with different characters to gain more points. In order to participate, throw up one post per set of prompts to keep track of how many points you've accumulated by using this form:

At the end of each two month block, the member with the most points will receive a reward of their choosing as well as a personalised badge! You may choose between:

• a pinterest board for a character of your choosing
• 100,000 bones
