i don't want too much tv but i will say: queen's gambit
oh my god chess is so boring but that show had me hooked the entire time.  it's a mini series so not very long but, but very good!  i also really enjoy the middleditch & schwartz comedy specials if you're looking for funny stuff.  i also binged bridgerton and i decently enjoyed it, though i've seen mixed reviews overall so there's that.  and if you're looking for something scarier, i recommend sweet home! a korean drama adaptation of the webtoon by the same name.  it's only on the first season but boy oh boy is it good, and this is coming from someone who doesn't usually enjoy horror/monsters/thriller stuff.  just a TW for darker themes like sui/ because the premise is that people turn into monsters based on their darkest desires and traumas, so some hellish pasts are brought up, but overall the visuals and storyline follows fighting monsters!

i also binged all 50 episodes of the untamed/cql and i will not stop recommending it to people.  it's a chinese drama that has canonical boyfriends (mellowed down for cn censorship) great actors, mystery magic artifacts, flying on swords, and dark magic via flute playing.  10/10 i haven't shut up about this since i first watched it in 2019

cas you knoW WHAT. the frustrating thing is that i tried to get into pb, but i couldn't even make it past the second episode ! i don't know what it was .. i know sometimes shows take a bit to pick-up and become interesting, but for some reason i couldn't push through ? ? idk man . maybe some day i'll try and push through the beginning because everyone always raves about it and it makes me feel so left out because i have no idea what's going on ASDFASDF

also, i've just been chilling out honestly.  trying to focus on my classes and get through all that, but i've been playing a lot more genshin impact and overwatch lately in my free time :,) i also binge play fe3h in bursts and i really need to get back to it, it's taken me forever to finish one route and start another lol

pb is definitely worth pushing thru but i understand its a little slow to start! also dittoing the queens gambit because its so so good. i honestly havent done much, i picked up pokemon pearl again and started playing, so now im just trying to grind and beat the elite 4. ive been playing this file since 2017 i just need to get it finished already fkajsnd

i loved sweet home! whatever you do, dont watch the dubbed version. my mom made us watch the pilot episode with the english dubbed version and hhhhhhh it wasn't fun HFKJGHKLJ

i love pb sm ! ! ! but i think that may be obvious with eddie around HFJGHJKL i am so gd sad that it's ending tho :-(( i will 100% cry throughout the whole next season knowing that it will soon be over, it's literally my fave series

my all time fave tho? bbc sherlock. i'm not even kidding when i say it's such a good show

aw cas you've reminded me i need to get back to playing pokemon sword lol . i haven't touched it in months whoops! i think i was trying to grind my pokemon for the next gym and then switched to fe3h for a break and it promptly left my brain

dubs are fine for the most part but they can be such a hit or miss.  i tend to watch live action dramas only in subs, i'll watch anime dubs on occasion though (usually when i'm trying to multitask)

also i used to love bbc sherlock.  like i watched all of it and was so obsessed and now i don't like it as much but i think i've been ruined by some analysis i saw done on it and i've just..my brain cannot handle fixating on it anymore.  i fixated on it for so many years i need to branch out lol

dude i'm not even kidding you, start watching from dusk till dawn (the tv series), finny obvs introduced me to it (cough rhett-gregory, narcissa and lincoln cough) but it is so weirdly good. like i never would have thought i'd ever watch a bank heist vampire crossover thing but here we are.

i've also got back into watching the boys again. superheroes but i would NOT want them saving me any time soon GFHJGHJLK it's pretty violent so just be aware of that but omg. i'm obsessed it's such a good show.

i'm gonna literally keep on listing off tv shows that you already know i watch but i'm going to continue anyways hAHA animal kingdom. pls. it's literally partly what inspired eddie, and the show as a whole is rlly fun to watch (esp all of frank's fc's stuff in the show)

OKAY to be fair 50 first dates, grown ups  and blended are all classics and i dont take criticism

Definitely check out Peaky Blinders if youre okay with violence, though there is some SA and r//pe in in the second season. Other than that its amazing. I also highly recommend She-Ra, and if youre down for some nostalgia ICarly.
