Hi guys!  I'm fairly new here, and for that reason, I have some questions.

1) Which boards are most active?  I'd like to get to know all of you guys as soon as I can ;3

2) What sort of diversity is looked for in terms of characters?  I like trying out new things (as well as researching new things), so it'd be nice to know what areas are.. lacking. 

3) Is the main roleplay "The New World" humans, or animals?  Or what exactly is that?

okay hi!! i dont see any answers to ths so here i am to try and help the best i can

1) as of rn what ig could be the most active boards might be any that are in The New World ( ofc, it's the rp lol ) but general oc has good chunk of us talking and interacting!!

2) personally, poc characters are lacking sadly as well as theres a lack of representation for the disabled community.

3) the main roleplay tnw is humans! so a basic rundown is that the world's power has completely gone out nd groups were formed so theres not rlly like as much of an importance in countries and such, but rather what group you came from. thats how id explain it, but theres information threads on how to get started in tnw and the story of it all if you need something better heh

Thanks for letting me know!  Don't worry- you were very helpful.

I take it general oc is the best place to go if I want to talk to other roleplayers here, then.  Additionally, I sort of had the feeling POC / disabled characters would be the ones lacking (no hard feelings, it's like that wherever I seem to go).  I'll try to add some diversity while I'm here!  I already have some ideas.

And thank you for the warm welcome, I'm happy to be here.  Hopefully, I'll settle right in. ;3c

hello!! venus explained things quite well. so, essentially seconding their thoughts.

each of tnw groups are a bit different so hopefully you’ll be able to find a place for your lovely creations to find a home.

however, we are also currently working on revamping the wnr (animal) game. at the minute we’re trying to have open and honest discussions amongst the community and what they want to see from all angles of bearbones.

finally, if none of that feels right for you, we’re starting to host monthly writing contests and other things of that nature.
