So, just a little update. Firstly, I'm so glad to hear that you guys like the ideas so far! Since posting, the staff team have worked hard in trying to implement the suggested ideas.

— We have begun another round of advertisement in order to encourage newcomers to join. We even have a new advert and banner to advertise Bearbones! We shall continue to advertise around and hopefully we will see results in the near future. Our next plan of action is to start an official Bearbones Tumblr account in order to reblog relevant aesthetics as well as advertise on the directories on there.
— The Google form for anonymous complaints is up and running! You can find the link here or on the News header on the main page. It is intended to encourage all members to speak up if they have a concern that is bothering them. This site aims to be inclusive and supportive of all members, and we value every opinion equally.
— We are discussing updating the leader requirements. In the meantime, until activity improves, we are giving some leniency on this.
— We posted this OOC Meet and Greet last month which was so great in getting to know everyone better. We plan on continuing to expand OOC discussion and chatter as we move away from Discord a little more.
— We are yet to discuss our ideas on the staff team, including eventually increasing the staff team, giving CAs more responsibilities and including a new section in the rules clarifying expectations of the staff team. It is something the staff team plan to discuss on in the near future.
— EDIT. I forgot to add that we are also in the process of clearing up the site's shop and figuring out what changes can be made to improve it!

Welcome to our newest discussion thread on the OOC community. As a staff team, we are committed to ensuring that Bearbones is a welcoming and inclusive community which everyone can enjoy. In order to ensure that this is the case, we would like to hear from you what you would like to see in the OOC community here on Bearbones!

Firstly, I'd like to quickly go over some ideas that we are thinking of implementing in order to see what everyone is most interested in.

— Staff. Firstly, we'd like to increase the staff team over time and give Community Assistants more responsibilities in order to prepare them for future promotions. We want to include a section in the site rules clarifying the expectations of the staff team, including OOC activity around the site.
— Work on advertising the site in order to encourage newcomers to join.
— Creating a Google form for anonymous complaints to lessen the anxiety/stress of coming forward to express concerns to staff. The form can be entirely anonymous if you wish.
— More OOC contests and competitions to get to know other members better.
— Work on updating the leader requirements to make being a leader less stressful, especially during slow periods.

We are very interested in some feedback as well as other ideas that you may have for the community.
