Edmund could remember the familiar face after many gatherings with the Badlands in his time. And, word spread fast. This was the new leader of the Badlands now. Eddie knew of Michael very well considering his less-than-ideal past with Flintlock Lodge.

This was the very same man who had gotten into a fight with Brendan, was he not? Eddie couldn’t forget; he’d been one of the men who’d been on shift as a guard during Michael’s imprisonment. His features were impassive yet calculating as he silently watched Michael approach. Eddie knew what he was capable of… but perhaps that strength could be put to good use some day.

Michael’s greeting was civil enough, Eddie nodding his head before replying in a slow mumble, ❝ Morning, Michael. I’ve actually come with an announcement to make; I hope you and your people could make good use of my offer. ❞ He paused for a second before nodding his head towards the Badlands territory. ❝ Mind if we sit down somewhere? It’s been a long journey as you - of course - know. ❞ The journey between Flintlock and the Badlands was a long one, but a worthwhile one between the two large and influential groups.

After all, he worried that this open invitation for unfamiliar faces to go to and from Flintlock Lodge would make them vulnerable. And so, Eddie had already ensured he could do anything to prevent such a thing from happening by establishing what he hoped would come out of this new renovation.

Wandering into the Badlands territory, Eddie slowly folded his arms across his chest, strolling closer in order to grab somebody’s attention.
