Once again, it was that time again. Sel was lounging in the papasan once more, a glass of orange juice in one hand. "Meeting!" The call rang out, and as she waited for people to assemble she took a luxurious sip from her orange juice. This was about as interesting as it was gonna get as far as drinks went, at least until the baby was born. That was going to be soon, she just knew it.

— Sel is a very bold, competitive and stubborn person, with a wild side that is shown frequently as well as flirtatious tendencies. She is easily bored and is always on the lookout for adventure, with a spark of curiosity that she hopes will lead to what she seeks: adventure and romance. She seems to not be a very serious person and would rather have fun than be productive, and failing entertainment she can be quite productive and get quite a bit done. She's loud and lacks discipline. While Sel is irresponsible (and oddly bossy) and wild, she is very family-oriented and loves her family dearly. She is usually a cheerful, friendly person but she definitely has a passion for the weird, dark and creepy. She is somewhat vain and egotistical. She has her secrets and one of them is her intelligence and ability to collect information; most dismiss her as a dumb party girl (or something like that) and that's part of her cover, she has her fair share of sins and has to have a way of hiding them, and because she is a good liar and good actress, she succeeds.

✲  Miguel had been sitting in a chair near her, his bare feet propped up on the lip of the chair he was in, his knees high above his shoulders. It was an odd position, his butt firmly in the seat, heels on the edge, and his torso between his legs. But it was comfortable, and that's all that really mattered. His dress was freshly cleaned, the cream on the canvas was no longer streaked with whatever he had picked up. He looked relatively healthier, but not too much. He still looked sick.
✲  The eerily tall man, though saying nothing, flinched at Selena's call. He looked down at his feet and instead put them on the floor. He figured no one would like to come into the room to see the freak of nature being even more of a freak. He pressed his knees together and folded his hands in his lap, intently looking at his gloved hands. Despite the clean dress, his gloves did not share the same fate. They still remained dirty.

♔  Vesania had been picking his fingers in his room, cross-legged and stressed. He had offered a day ago if he could be demoted, just for the time being. His heart was pounding for no particular reason. His sleep paralysis had been getting out of hand, and it was putting a big toll on him, and he needed to step down for a while. He didn't want to abandon such an honorable role.
♔  Upon Selena's call, the albino startled, and swung off his bed. He quickly hammered down the steps, one foot at a time, and ended up in the room fairly quickly. He missed last meeting from his sleep paralysis, and wouldn't miss another. He slid to a halt, almost bumping into a vacant chair. He smoothed the landing by sitting down and crossed one leg over the other, as if he had meant to do that.
♔  Vesania brushed his hair out of his face, breathing heavily through his nose. It had been a very long time since he had run, and that took a lot of air out of him. He fixed his vest and brushed the long fur before folding his hands together in his lap.
♔  "'sup, boss?"

"Let's start with the welcomes, shall we? Eliza and Alton, welcome to Los Santos. If you need anything or your fellows aren't giving you the proper welcome, just let me know, 'kay?" She shot a wink in their direction. "I'm also having a game of cards against humanity in the common room after this, so head on over there so we can keep the party rolling."

Sel took a sip of her orange juice. "We've got some interesting developments with our allies, as well. Northstar has just opened a clinic that any of us are free to go to for any ailments. I've already been there, it's legit. Pretty nice timing, huh?" Her hand ran over her belly. Yeah, she'd pretty much already made up her mind about having the baby there. "The Badlands has had a favorable leadership change. Catalyst, the bastard that wouldn't even speak to me with anything but contempt, has been ousted by Salem. He is interested in friendship, so we are now allies. Not only that, but we've got an open border policy with them and have an arrangement wherein we provide... certain goods, in exchange for protection."

Los Santos' was small. There weren't many people here, so naturally many of the deals that Sel made would bring in numbers from other groups should they need them. Bluestem Prairie and now Badlands had pledged support in times of conflict, and with Mateo's connections in Northstar, she wouldn't be surprised if she could pull at least a few people from there too. Flintlock needed some work, but getting up there was hard these days. Maybe after the baby was born, she'd pay Eddie a visit.

Right. "Oh, one last thing. Vesania has agreed to step down. Again, guys, I'm looking for people to promote so show up and get involved." She stood up, head weaving a little bit from side to side. "So who wants to play some cards against humanity?"
