Based on Eddie's new plan to increase productivity in Flintlock, he's implemented a new ranking system in order to assign members to particular roles and responsibilities. It's not to say that they cannot join in on participating in other ranks' activities and jobs, but being assigned a rank shows that their strong suit lays in that particular role and that they're the one to go to if their expertise is needed!

The sign-up is very quick and simple, just asking which rank you'd like your character to be assigned to. They are as follows:

• combat
• diplomacy
• medicine
• caregiving
• foraging

Please note that you cannot sign up to have your character become a high position! High positions can only be earned through activity on the board, ic contributions to help the community, and being friendly and welcoming to all people ooc (on Bearbones and on Discord).

RELATED SKILLS: this boy was raised on gore and gunfire - all while thinking that was a particularly normal occurrence for everyone during their adolescence. around the lodge, while he plays himself off as innocent, there are a particular few that know he isn't particularly someone you want to come across in a fight. he's exceptionally skilled with firearms and hand-to-hand combat. while he doesn't pride himself on his expertise with melee weapons, he is at least pretty good with them as well even though he'd rather just use knives and the like while his poor victim is tied up and completely defenseless

RELATED SKILLS: Mary's an empathetic person to begin with. While she has a few skills, one of her more prevalent is taking care of people who are sick and or injured. Having a lot of animals she learned how to care for them, and with the help of a lot of books, she learned how to apply her medical knowledge to not just animals, but humans too. She can treat anything from a paper-cut to a broken bone to birth, (and everything in between), though she does not feel comfortable preforming surgery, she might "give a whack at it" if needed.
