The previous one-on-one events with Los Santos' new allies had been Christmas themed. With the timing of the alliance becoming official, she hadn't had the chance to put together what she had in mind for them (wreath making). But considering the others were sort of cozy events, tucked up inside doing things together, she opted for something that would at least be in that category, if not festive.

Sel had dug up as many board games as she could possibly find, and placed a stack of them in the common room next to the fireplace. She had one going, and there were to be mugs of hot chocolate placed on the coffee table once the guests started arriving. She stood by the door, waiting expectantly, then a scout came and informed her that the Lodgers were arriving. Perfect. He was sent to get the members of Los Santos, and send for the drinks.

She's loud and lacks discipline. While Sel is irresponsible (and oddly bossy) and wild, she is very family-oriented and loves her family dearly. She is usually a cheerful, friendly person but she definitely has a passion for the weird, dark and creepy. She is somewhat vain and egotistical. She has her secrets and one of them is her intelligence and ability to collect information; most dismiss her as a dumb party girl (or something like that) and that's part of her cover, she has her fair share of sins and has to have a way of hiding them, and because she is a good liar and good actress, she succeeds.

    Eddie liked alliances, but it didn't mean that he could exactly trust the legitimacy of them. There'd been one too many instances where him and his family had been screwed over by trusting the wrong people, and so Eddie simply chose to trust nobody. But, trust had nothing to do with keeping alliances. As the old saying went: keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. And so, he'd do just that. Selena Felix was someone to watch out for. Her family had always been an infamous bunch in their world; one of the Stirling's greatest enemies. Ed wouldn't keep things so personal when it came to affairs between Flintlock and Los Santos, but he wasn't sure if he could say the same for Sel.

And so, he'd continue to remain quietly cautious.

An invitation to visit Los Santos for some casual board games appeared innocent enough, yet Ed still decided to go somewhat obsessively armed. Even beneath clothing lay a switchblade against the calf and brass knuckles in his jacket pocket. Stepping into the common room, Ed's eyes swiftly scanned the room, briefly landing on mugs of hot chocolate and a plethora of different board games stacked on top of one another. ❝ Sel- ❞ Ed tipped his head towards the woman in greeting upon seeing her before he stepped into the room, swiftly followed by his family and then the other Lodgers. ❝ This is a nice set up. ❞ He complimented lowly, stepping to the side to stand beside the Los Santos leader as he allowed Lodgers to make their way into the room.

Sel did like throwing parties, didn't she? That wasn't something Bub had missed when she went MIA. Networking and political maneuvering had never been an interest of hers, and oftentimes it just left her angry and confused and probably bound to a few unfortunate agreements that her family would need to wiggle her out of later.

But boardgames weren't that bad, she supposed. Bub had been informed she needed to bring in the drinks once the guests started arriving, and here they were, so she whisked into the room with a tray full of hot chocolate and set it on a table near the fire to keep it warm.

Edmund was already greeting Sel, and Bub scrunched her nose up at the sight of the Stirlings. Why were they invited, again? Oh well, she'd let Sel deal with them; her sister was scarier than she looked, and Bub was sure she could handle them.

The girl hurried to the stack of games and started looking through them. "Does anybody want to play Clue?" Bub questioned, looking at the mix of guests and members. She picked up the box, and though it was a bit dented she took a quick peek and saw all the pieces were there.

Alliances could be such flimsy things. Even the ones you thought were the sturdiest could fall apart in your hands just when you thought they'd be getting stronger. No, definitely not thinking of her family's involvement with the Reavers, that hinged almost entirely on her relationship with the family's third son.

Unfortunately for that alliance, he was a piece of shit.

But this was nothing like that. Not two families putting aside their differences for the sake of young "love". This was strategic, something that mutually benefited both groups and had more to stand on than feelings. A good thing, since it wasn't as if the Felixes and Stirlings had a history of getting along.

"Thank you." She purred, watching the Lodgers file into the room. Indeed she was fond of throwing parties, as she tended to thrive in social situations. Getting her hands into politics was something she absolutely adored; pulling strings and getting things to go her way, she lived for that shit. "I'm game if you are." She said, turning her her smirk towards him and his people.
