    ❝ All right, so I'll make this meeting quick- ❞ Edmund started as he gently bounced Charlotte on his hip. ❝ So, firstly, warm welcome to Emery. If anybody knows of some pretty places to draw, I think she'd be grateful to hear 'em. ❞ He commented quietly, impassive gaze wandering the room.

❝ Yuletide was a success, thanks to everybody who participated. I hope that Christmas Day was a good day for everybody and you all got the rest you all needed. Now, with the new year, it's time for us to get back to work again. ❞ He paused momentarily with a slow nod of the head. It was possibly not what everyone was hoping to hear, but they all did need to get back to work at some point if Flintlock was to remain standing.

Bouncing Charlotte lightly in his arms, he had enough to speak about in the meeting, especially after the Yuletide events. Eddie lowered his gaze briefly, raising a brow briefly as Charlotte gurgled eagerly. Well she seemed to enjoy the spotlight on her.

Meetings, meetings were something that Miles had grown used to in his time here, and had missed while he was gone, though, he had missed quite a bit in his absence. It had been very hard for him to deal with everything happening with him during his absence.

His face was grim for a moment before he shook his head, he only wished he'd been able to return sooner, spend time with his half sister before she vanished.

Taking a deep breath, Miles leaned against the wall near the back of the room where the meeting was being held. Cassie laying at his feet, her ears and paws twitching in her sleep.
