It was about two weeks later since Eddie and Venom has bonded. The first few days were rough on both of them, but they had slwoly adjusted to it. Venom had mostly allowed Eddie to remain in control, but he certainly didn’t stop talking to Eddie.

It was later on that night and Venom knew Eddie had been having some trouble sleeping. Venom had remained awake and alert, but had stayed silent so the other could try and sleep.

eddie was having no luck in the sleep department. he just lay there, eyed closer but.. he kept tossing and turning constantly. he sighed and slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes. “damn it..”

Venom was silent for a while before deciding to speak up. “What usually helps you humans sleep? Obviously what you’re doing isn’t working. You need a new method.” Venom murmured in Eddie’s head.

he sighed. “sleeping pills, but i don’t have any and i’m not sure how you’ll react to them. i don’t need you getting a taste for melatonin..”

He was quiet for a moment. “Well it couldn’t hurt I think. You need sleep. And I doubt your medication will do much to me.” He said

he sighed. “it’s not you i’m worried about. it’s me. i can’t take more than one, taking two is potentially dangerous over a period of time, and taking more than three is stupid. with you and my new immune system or whatever.. i’d have to take an entire bottle.. which is deadly.”

Venom was silent for a while. “...A hard blow to the head would be enough to knock you out.” He nurmured

he hissed. “that’s also deadly, you brute!” he snapped.

Venom hummed. “It’s quick and effective and id keep you from dying.” He muttered. He then sighed. “Take a jog. I heard exercise can help.” He ssid

he shook his head. “if end up passing out..” he muttered.
