Junkrat and Lucio were both new recruits to Overwatch. And right away, it was clear they were both different. They were outcasts. Junkrat was especially apparent that he didn’t really belong anywhere. The others in Overwatch had been kind of intimidated by him. However, he and Lucio had become fast friends.

It was a bit later at night and overwatch was throwing a Halloween party. Junkrat and Lucio had been invited to it, so they ended up dressing up as pirates and went together:

It was being hosted in the cafeteria. And once in there, it was clear they were planning on having a good time. The cafeteria had been decorated. There was plenty of food there. Their comrades were now dressed up as well in costumes.

Junkrat looked around the room. “Heh. Never thought the place could look so good without any explosives anywhere.” Junkrat said

lucio has put on his leg thingies and decorated them for the occasion,quite happy that he had someone to go with. the short man looked at junk rat, and chuckled. “i know, right?” he joked and started to skate backwards. “you wanna go get some punch before someone spikes it?”

Junkrat smiled. “”Sounds good but I think we ought to wait. We’re all of legal age so some spiked lunch may do some good.” Junkrat joked

he hummed. “you know i don’t drink.@ he chuckled and moved to go get himself some punch. he returned with a cup for jamison and hummed. “i wonder who made this..?”

He blinked, looking at the glass. He then took a sip from it. “Hmm...Well it doesn’t taste poisoned so probably Mrs. Amari since she’s the only one who I trust to not poison any of our comrades. The others are pretty suspicious.” He said

he chuckled. “i feel that on a spiritual level.” he said and whistled before taking a sip of his drink. “let’s go sit down for a bit.”

Junkrat smiled. He then headed off, moving to sit at a bench beside Lucio. He glanced over, seeing a small group gathered around Mccree. Mccree was telling a story to everyone. He appeared to be dressed up as somedemon hunter. Jack, Gabe, Ana, Moira and Genji was listening to his story.

“Mccree I’ve got to say that was one of the worst stories I’ve ever heard.” Moira said, watching him. Jesse scoffed.

“Alright Moira. Think you could do any better?” Jesse asked, raising an eyebrows. She scoffed.

“Oh I could tell you a real horror story but I don’t think your “fathers” here would approve of me telling you about what I do in the labs.” Moira murmured.

Junkrat blinked, watching him. “I’m sure whatever his story was it was just fine.” Junkrat said

lucio nodded and hummed. “i don’t have any scary stories.”

Junkrat blinked. “Hmm. I probably could come up with one.” Junkrat said.

Jack smirked softly. “You want a horror story I could tell you about my relationship with Gabe.” Jack said teasingly.

lucio giggles. “here’s a horror story: getting you to bathe for once.@ he joked.
Gabe whacked jack over the head gently and chuckled. “watch it, out your sex life is going to become a horror story.”
