hank shook his head and pulled him into a hug. “nah. connor hadn’t gotten ready yet so he’s changing. why don’t you go sit on the couch?”

He nodded and hugged back, giving the other a little smile before going to sit down and relax.

soon enough, connor moved back into the living room and blinked. he smiled in his soft little way. “hi. i am connor.” he greeted and held out a hand to shake.

The brunette, otherwise known as Barry, gave Connor a soft smile back and said, shaking the other's hand, "Hi! I'm Barry. It's nice to finally meet you. I've heard about you a lot from Hank."

he smiled slightly. “he.. hasn’t said much about you. i only just found out you were coming.” he said and chuckled. “i hope he’s said good things?”

He smiled a bit sympathetically and said, laughing softly, "Uhm, most of it is good now. Not so much in the beginning."

he chuckled. “oh i’m sure~”

He smiled and said, bouncing a bit, "I'm sure that most of the mean things weren't true though. You seem very nice~"

connor was glad hank had stayed behind after detroit was evacuated and it became the city of androids. he wasn't comfortable staying in a random person's home, so he stayed with who he saw as a father figure, and he was enjoying it so far. currently, he was sat on the couch, watching the tv with sumo's (hank's giant st. bernard) head in his lap. "so, i told you about my nephew coming over for a while, right?" hank called from the kitchen, moving into the door way and leaning on the wall. connor looked at him and tilted his head. "no, you didn't when it he coming?" he asked and hank looked up when he heard a knock. "should be him now." he said and connor frowned. "haqnk, i havn't even changed out of my pyjama's yet!" he said and stood, patting the dog's head and rushing to change into his normal clothes while hank went to open the door. he heard hank say 'hey kid!' and another males voice greeting him.

The male at the door was sort of small, and he had curly chestnut brown hair and emerald green eyes. He smiled at Hank and said, looking a little tired, "Hey, Hank. I hope I didn't get here too early or anything?"
