so canary and crow here are members of new carthage. born and raised in a small tribal society known as smith, it was tradition to go on a week long journey out into the forest by yourself when you turned eighteen to prove you can survive on your own. upon their birthday, the twins went out on their own for seven days and seven nights, and when they returned, smith and all of it's people were gone, along with their things. the pair eventually concluded that, for whatever reason, they'd been abandoned. they left their former home and wandered for a while before eventually setting course for new carthage.

they speak a native tongue that i made up as well as english, and harbor a standard american accent. the language itself sounds like english when they speak, except it isn't. they're both former warrior novices, the children of the leader of smith, and now use smith as a surname when prompted. in general, both are extremely rough with each other and wrestle a lot, viewing things as a competition, so please don't be alarmed if one of them just openly punches the other for no reason. translations for their words are always found at the bottom of their posts. canary speaks in bold #CEC4A1 and crow speaks in bold #858D75.
