(just in case, i used to be known as lethie, and later larkspurrr, and, in the dark, cringy days of being new to the main game, my username was tomboy). joining a roleplay forum again is just a lil nerve-wracking, so i apologise if i seem awkward or anything :')

my fave book is radio silence by alice oseman, and my fave bands/song artists are owl city and fall out boy.

I used to be really into the Tokyo Ghoul anime, but I stopped watching it a while back because I unfortunately didn't have the time. Maybe I should pick that back up again, because I really enjoyed it. I've never read Radio Silence maybe I should? What's it about?, but I do love Fall Out Boy. They're one of my fave bands atm and I know that [member=2246]Hootowls[/member] really, really loves Owl City

radio silence is about this girl who meets the creator of a youtube podcast she's obsessed with... and then stuff happens. tbh it's hard to explain the plot in an interesting way without giving spoilers, but it's just really well written and actually realistically portrays how teenagers act. also features several lgbtq+ characters so that's nice. if you're more of a sci-fi/fantasy person it probably isn't your cup of tea tho :')

I thought it was a really good album! The shift from what I’m usually used to hearing from them to the new style was jarring at first, but I like the direction they seem to be heading in. Plus some of their songs still sound super familiar, it’s just that novelty that makes it interesting to continue listening to. I mean. Hold me tight or don’t sounds just like Shakira, what’s not to love?
