PERSONALITY | I LEARNED TODAY TOMORROW CAN'T BE SAVED
&. Although the Theo that existed before his time with the GOC still exists, that playful, cheerful, and flirtatious person, things have changed over the last month. It's still easy to talk to him about anything and everything — he's the sort of listener that makes you want to keep talking — but there's a new level of detachment inside him. Much quieter and colder than he had been before, and far more likely to snap at anyone who gets too close to him. Feels intensely desperate to prove himself, both in his physical and mental abilities. Will pick fights with people even though he shouldn't, but otherwise just seems quiet. His jumps between sweet and desperate to socialize and dangerously angry can be confusing, to say the least. Still, he's helpful and kind above all else.

APPEARANCE | AND THE LESS YOU KNOW THE MORE YOU SAY YOU'RE BROKEN, BEATEN
&. It's taken some time for Theo to recover from his time spent with the Captors. Though he has yet to fully regain the lithe, powerful musculature he'd had before captivity, he's gained a little bit more weight than before. Settled now at 120 lbs, he still has a while to go from 115 back to his healthy 130 for his rather slight height of barely 5'6". After a few good weeks surrounded by a few trusted friends, he's allowed himself to stand at his full height with a sort of confidence.  Bright brown eyes have regained a fiery warmth, and he smiles much more easily than before. Curly chocolate brown hair has been trimmed a little, just to the point that it doesn't tickle his ears, and his skin has regained an intense warmth that shows off the army of freckles that seems to grow stronger every day.
↳ Theo has yet to replace the heart-shaped daith piercing he took out during his capture, he once again wears a curly tongue piercing, and his clothing has regained some of its colorful style. Jeans tend to be tight-fitting, and he wears a red or yellow hoodie, sometimes with a black denim jacket over top. He tries to keep everything as loose as possible around his injuries, particularly the brand.

INJURIES | USED AND MISTREATED. TIRED, SHATTERED, BRUISED AND BATTERED
&. After having a little more time to recover in peace, and with careful medical attention, Theo's injuries look a lot better. The marks are fading, everything currently in that gross greenish-yellow shade of a bruise's last stand, and cuts have scabbed over. The brand is healing from infection, but is much slower than the rest. The "traitor" tattoo on his arm is slightly faded but still prominent.
↳ He gets incredibly skittish when people get near his wounds, even those with medical training.

↳ A few weeks of bartering has left Theo significantly better armed than he was after his escape. The combat knife he first bartered for has been cleaned and sharpened, and he has another fixed blade knife that he keeps concealed at the small of his back underneath his shirt. He does trade and barter as needed, and scavenges for things worth trading.
↳ Theo recently buried his teddy bear, but still has his stuffed elephant on a shelf in his room.

↳ Despite being physically and mentally resilient, he has paid a price for his time in captivity. His physical weakness and slowed reaction times make it difficult for him to keep up with a fight. Ends them quickly if at all possible, and has already started training to get himself back up to his previous strength. Fights dirty and still won't back down, even if he's at an extreme disadvantage.
