murphy, doc, and ten had been travelling for a while since black rainbow (meant to be used as chemical warfare but it failed and NOTHING HAPPENED except a huge black rainbow of tiny drones you can see across the USA), and team warren had been traveling.. without warren. warren was gone, dead for all they knew. they hadn’t known whatelse to do- ten didn’t want to leave doc, considering he had gina but coo-coo last time they got separated, and with how murphy was, he wasn’t going to risk leaving the group. “ah.. good old kansas!” murphy said, baseball cap pulled slightly over his eyes, hood up and scarf wrapped around his face to hide the red of his skin, sunglasses covering the rest of his skin. “times like this makes me miss shitty country music.. like.. i don’t know. taylor swift.” he stated and smirked under his scarf. doc scoffed. “amen to that, brother.” doc chuckled, elbowing the y’all man and sighing. “you guys hungry? i think i have some left over crickets?” he offered.

dean and sam had been walking around the bunker, above ground to make sure no Z’s blacked them in. “you know, when i said a zombie apocalypse was cool, i didn’t mean it.” dean stated, sighing but pausing when he heard talking. obey, sammy. you hear that?”

Ten had been silent as they walked. Not because he wanted to, but just because he didn’t know how else to bring any input to the conversation, so he stayed silent as he kept an eye on their surroundings, listening to the others speak. “No thanks.” Ten murmured at the offer of food. He was hungry, but that much.

Sam had been keeping watch with Dean. It was a daily thing now. They needed to keep the bunker safe. They had Jack. Jack was still learning how to use his powers and he couldn’t be trusted to take care of himself now if he was attacked. And with Cas still being slightly weak from returning from the dead, they were doing their best to keep him safe as well.

“You don’t really think anything is cool anymore, Dean.” Sam murmured. He fell silent however when he heard voices. He quickly drew out his gun

murphy hummed. “as much as i love deep fried crickets, i’m gonna pass.” he said and looked around the road. he paused, however, when he saw two men standing, staring right at them. he stopped walking, and so did doc, who noticed them after a moment. “oh. uh.. been a while since we’ve met survivors..” he muttered and held up his hands. “we don’t want any trouble!” he called and murphy sighed, lifting gloves hands as well.

dean frowned and looked at ten. “is that a kid?” he asked and nudged sam. “shit, i think they’ve got a kid with them.”

Ten stopped, eyeing the strangers warily. He reached back, resting a hand on his gun as he eyed them. He narrowed his eyes.

Sam frowned, looking them over. He was silent for a momemt. “Are you guys doing alright out there?” Sam asked.

“We can handle ourselves.” Ten muttered, glancing at him.

doc elbowed ten, lowering his hands. “we were just passing by. but uh.. if you’ve got room, we haven’t really.. slept in a while.” doc said and murphy stared at doc, quickly whispering something to him. they argued for a bit before murphy sighed and mixed his scarf anxiously.
dean looked to sam. “what do you think?” he asked.

Sam glanced them over. He was silent for a moment. “...We have our own family to worry about Dean.” Sam whispered, looking at him.

“And When has that ever stopped you from helping others?” A voice asked. Sam glanced over, noticing Castiel had appeared. “You’ve always been one for reaching out and helping others in times of need. We can’t turn them away. You’re always stronger as a group.” Castiel said

dean sighed as cas came out. “alright. you guys can come in if you agree to some.. really quick tests.” he said and doc nodded. “whatever you boys want us to do. as long as we’ve got a safe place to sleep.” he said and dean gestured over.

Ten frowned. However, he moved over when Dean gestured for them to move over. Castiel was silent as he looked them over.

doc and murphy moved over and dean watched murphy. @whats with the get up?” he asked and murphy instantly answered: “i’m severely deformed. it’s for your own sanity.” he then moved in along with ten and doc. jack was at the big table near the entrance, and didn’t look up he heard the door. “hey dad? can you ask dean where we keep the holy water?” he called and murphy paused. “oh god, is this some religious cult?”

Castiel glanced over at Murphy. “God is not here right now. He abandoned heaven and we haven’t heard from him in a long time.” Castiel said. He then glanced at Jack. “The holy water is in the bedroom in the cabinet where they’ve always kept it.” Castiel said
