as soon as summer began (literally the first day after school ended), vincent's parents sent him south to a boy's home for the summer. they were tired of him being a little shit, so they simply sent him away. he stood next to the taxi as the cabby took his bags from the trunk, taking a cigarette from the pack he had and setting it between his lips, lighting it and inhaling slowly. the farm house was big, which was good. maybe he'd get his own room (however, that didn't seem likely). he sighed as he took his suitcase and moved to the front porch, knocking on the door and watching as it opened. the male  who opened it was taller than him, around his age, and most certainly handsome. "uh.. hi." he greeted, holding the cigarette between two fingers. "im the new guy. vincent."

Alex was born out in the south. His mother died during childbirth and his father didn't have the money to raise him, so Alex was sent to the boy's home at a very young age and has been living there since. When he grew older, he became one of the hardest working members there. He enjoys working with the animals, since in a way he finds comfort in them better then humans since he's not the greatest with human interaction, but he certainly tries. He is the sweetest man you'll ever meet despite being shy.

Alex had just finished getting dressed. He went downstairs, looking around. Apparently a new guy was joining them today? Not that Alex minded. He enjoyed seeing new people he just...Had a hard time communicating with them without clamming up. He glanced over when he heard a knock at the door. He heistated before moving over and opened the door.

He was a bit shocked by the sudden appeareance of the new kid. He quickly pushed those thoughts away when he started talking. He offered a smile. "Hello." He said. "...I'm Alexander, although you can call me Alex. I'm one of the boys that live here." He said. He blinked. "Uh...Come in. I can show you were you're staying." He said.

he nodded and smiled slightly. "cool. thanks." hesaid and stepped inside, looking around. he rose the cigarette to his lips before a tall and skinny man plucked it away. "hey, i know you're new, but there are a bunch of kids with lung issues. no smoking inside." he said and vincent scowled. "alright." he muttered.

He nodded. He then moved off to show Vincent to his room

vincent followed and scowled. there seemed to be ten beds to a room. "so, are you in my room, or am i with a bunch of strangers?"
