▪  Grew up in a polynesian tribe where Northstar District currently resides. Currently, the tension is strong, however Lani is quite curious about the group and their customs as it's out of ordinary of what he's used to. Watches them often before he finally gets the courage to step into their border.
▪ One of the barriers between his tribe and Northstar, including himself, is their difference in language. Although his grandfather unknowingly speaks a little bit of English, Lani was raised to speak his mother tongue, and that's Samoan. Will slowly begin to learn basic English to overcome this obstacle to understand ND.
▪  Knows all of the mythology, folklore, and constellations by heart and is rather enthralled by it; corny to say, but it's his only escape from the reality that he knows, which can get to be quite a bore.
