used to be an officer but he quit after a few problems with his superiors and a investigation he was doing. currently working as a scavenger and "dungeon" dweller, where he came across a cryogenically frozen human.
he's fairly serious most of the time, but he does have his silly moments. hes incredibly protective and loving, but can get very violent if hes up against enemies. highly trained in rifles (snipers). 

garrus had spent months out in the wilds of earth, tracking down the pinging of what he believed to be a very old radio signal from what he believed was an old containment vault. now, as he stood in what he learned the humans had called a "subway station". he ran a gloved hand over the worn orange metal of the vault door and pulled up his AI system. he put in the program and watched as the door slowly slid open, and he took a deep breath as he took out his laser pistol. he slowly moved along the hallways before finding a mainframe and checking the information. however, he froze when he saw the status of one pod. alive. in bold red letters. he dropped the data pod and rushed off, sprinting down the halls and counting the pods as he went. "seventy five.. seventy six.. seventy seven! yes!" he exclaimed, pulling the lever quickly and watching as the pod door slid open slowly, a cold cloud of fog wafting through the hallway before dissipating. he held his breath, watching as the human started to stir. a giddy feeling rose in his chest and he let out a breath. "hello? can you hear me? understand me? can you see? walk? talk? move?" he asked, eyes wide and excited. the last living human left on earth.

Greg was a music composer in his previous life. He took great pride in his work and always found joy and comfort in music. He's rather friendly when he gets to know people a bit more. Even while meeting for the first time, he'll always have a smile on his face. He's never been one for bragging and prefers to be modest.

Greg didn't remember much. The last thing he remembers was being put into a pod before being put to sleep. He stirred  a bit though when the pod suddenly opened. His legs seemed to give out on him and he suddenly collapsed onto the ground outside of the pod. he sucked in a sharp breath, managing to open his eyes. His vision was blurry however and he couldn't really make out anything yet. He could hear a voice talking though. Greg took a moment to assess where the voice came from before turning his gaze in that direction.

"...Who are you?" Greg asked, his voice slightly hoarse from not being used. He closed his eyes and raised a slight trembling hand to rub them.

garrus kneaded down slowly to help him up, holding one-off him. "my name is garrus vakarian. how do you feel?"

Greg frowned in slight confusion. He'd never heard a name like that before. He slowly opened his eyes. He blinked a few times trying to clear his vision up. "I uh...I feel fine. Just...Weak." He said. After a minute, the blur had left his vision. He looked around, trying to see where he was. It looked like a subway system of sorts. He looked over at the pod he was in before glancing at the others. He frowned

Greg then glanced over to see who was by him. He expected to see another human. Not...This alien creature. Startled, he instantly drew away from the other, looking him over with slight wide eyes.

his eyes widened. "hey, hey! it's ok, i won't hurt you!" he said quickly and stopped the male from running into anything by grabbing his shoulder. "i'm sorry if i startled you.. i forgot humans never saw turians.." he said and looked around. "you must me hungry and stuff."

He blinked, looking the other over. “A...Turian?” He asked. That...Must be what his race is. When did these creatures get here? How...How long was he asleep? He frowned. “What’s the date today?” He asked

he blinked. "i'm not sure about the earth date, but.. it's estimated that humans have been gone for around.. twenty thousand years before we settled onto the planet."

His eyes widened. Twenty thousand years? He blinked, looking around. That would explain why this place has pretty much fallen apart. “...There’s no other humans alive or on this planet?” He asked

he shook his head. "most humans we've found are in pods like those. if one is alive, they die seconds after he pod is open.. you're incredibly lucky, sir." he said, making sure that he was ok. "would you mind of i checked your vitals?"

He blinked, looking over at the pods. So...The others in there, they weren’t alive? He blinked. So...He was the last one then. He looked over at Garrus spoke. “...I guess do what you need to.” He whispered
