" brendan will probably not say it out loud, but he sees bruce as some form of a father figure nowadays. For him, it’s kinda hard not toâ€â€Âbruce is almost the only one in the lodge that even acts like some form of a dad to him. It’s challenging for brendan to grow close to people, but bruce has been helping him since day one, so the teen has certainly grown fond of him. It makes him clingy, almost. He looks up to bruce, if that isn’t obvious already, but even then there’s some problems. The main one is that brendan finds him intimidating when mad. Sure, so far bruce hasn’t been mad at him yet, but the idea of making him angry is a bit scary, to say the least. Brendan really wants to prove himself to Bruce, and now that he’s off of his crutches, he’s really going to start pushing himself. There isn’t an exact reason why, thoughâ€â€Âit can be assumed that it’s because he wants to make up for all the times bruce had to save him. Brendan wants approval from bruce. So, in short, brendan really looks up to bruce, and doesn’t want to be a burden to the adult. "

Overall, he’s a bit weirded out by her, and doesn’t know her much at all, but protective at the very least. "
