[align=center][div style="width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-family: calibri; font-size: 8pt; line-height:12px;"]a hummingbird, of the traditional sort with a ruby throat and all. something was off. maybe it was the way it's wings were: not the traditional hummingbird wing, but instead a shape similar to the milkweed butterfly's forewing, yet the curve of the costa forewing was straight instead of bow-like shape;maybe it was the fact the hummingbird's tail was split into two medium in length, and with a fresh vine of small magenta trumpet-shaped flowers blooming over the tails, slightly above from where the tail feathers began to sprout. it couldn't possibly be the size that would bewilder someone; because, although it was larger than the average hummingbird, it barely surpassed the average fairy size by a few inches.

the cat was still, expected of a crystalline statue. however, once a child of magic approached the being, the figure caught a gleam in its eye, that one almost assumed was a trick of the light, that caused the crystalline physique to shudder, from its head to tail and look up at the child with an penetrating, curious stare. if statues could have a curious stare, that is. the cat encircled the child once, still staring, and after a few seconds, leapt onto the shoulder of the witch. the child stumbled, not because the cat was particularly heavy, but because of the shock that went with the cat leaping at them. the cat seemed to almost roll its eyes, if that were possible, before murmuring into the small ear of the child.
"quite the romantic you will become, oui? then again, all houses have a bit of romanticism in them. let's see," the cat quickly licked its smooth paw before continuing "seeming rather hesitant, are we? sensing a bit of nervous energy pent up as well."
the child shifted, the cat's smooth voice was almost too smooth, an uncomfortable feeling in the youngling's ear. "no matter," the cat huffed, before jumping back down to the ground to announce, "liavrene" and then producing, in its maw, a lightly-purple stemmed metal rose with metallic blue petals, looking surprisingly lifelike, elegantly wrapped with a striped bow, in the house's colors, with a silver rabbit brooch, and gently set it at the child's feet.
was also thinking..
raincloud? clear umbrella? rain color of houses' colors, umbrella turned opaque shades of houses' colors, house name branded on umbrella. rumbling raincloud symbolized equivalent of "hat stall".

sacrondelle academie de magie = bricolage of words sacre and hirondelle, meaning holy/sacred/mighty/solemn, and swallow (bird) respectively. sacr- is from the latin/french form meaning holy, sacred, mighty, solemn, and plenty of other definitions. hirondelle replaced "arondelle". didn't want to change the placement of subject and adjective, knowing that the adjective comes after the subject (Except for special occassions) otherwise, the english audience would be confused. similar to how beauxbattons isn't grammatically correct as it should be battons beaux.

situated in the french alps, the prodigious vast castle is set in stone, perched high, atop one of the largest and steepest cliffs in the mountains. ref, ref.
school crest is similar to the beauxbattons, yet the "B" is replaced with a "S".
basically, sacrondelle is replacing beauxbattons in history, so they will have an exact replica, to some extent of the history of the beauxbattons. yet, there used to be a house called "vuixen" , yet it was soon destroyed by the wizarding war and forgotten, then serpentin replaced the house. the coa now has a serpent at the feet of the foxes, creeping up the foxes' bodies.
every bit of elegant as once can imagine, but even more so, evoking fantastical fairy-tale fantasies; ornate vast rooms, chandeliers, extravagant ballrooms, marble everywhere, opulent furnishings right down to the doorknobs; grandeur, beauty, sophistication, refinement radiate from sacrondelle. although affluent and rococo/baroque-inspired, they have a nice simplicity and neatness to the castle as well: the details and furnishings weren't so elaborate that it would overshadow the room, instead those gildings and details would just add to the charm; there weren't many gildings on the walls. considered more of un palais than a castle, due to vast rich opulence and affluence, a simply spectacular sight to behold, with seemingly countless rooms and spectacles and wonders to observe. The stunning neo-gothic baroque exterior is characterized by its perfect symmetry, beautiful interiors, rococo rooms, and elaborately planned gardens.
Multiple different architects created the different houses' living areas, each with their own design and elaborate ideas pertaining to the houses' different influence (e.g. the chivalric members of andoulor get rooms styled after Louis XVI, members of the tender liavrene receive rooms inspired by a soft countryside france, the graceful members of trompeyne gain rooms modeled after the romantic ballet era, and rooms inspired by grecian and classical period ideals are home to serpentille); although all houses have a little of the others' influence in them, the main idea is centered around those just mentioned.
A six-year-old Mozart performed for Maria Theresa and Marie Antoinette in the Hall of Mirrors, and the Congress of Vienna danced at a ball held in the Great Gallery after parceling out Napoleon’s defeated empire in 1815. The palace is characterized by its gothic style; it drew upon the principles of French neoclassicism, but also incorporated Gothic, and Renaissance elements, and the Second Empire style evolving from its 17th-century Renaissance foundations, it was a mix of earlier European styles, most notably the Baroque.
the bedrooms/dorms had lovely french beds, either four-poster or simply an ornate headboard it was up to the designer.
