i find that like,, the way your username is written helps??
i find straight lowercase is really popular with main acc names, as well as sparkles
like 'shadow' or '✦. shadow'
but shadow isn't really an aesthetic word mainly due to it being seen as like,, edgy?? not that it is per say but if you want some sort of more grunge type of username, i'd go with something relating vaguely to darkness (ie murk, dusk, lunar, sirius, those sort of names)
another thing abt aesthetic usernames(?) is usually theyre either really simple or like,, weird,,, korean words
and definitions of words you've never heard of too ("demesne", "metanoia", "elysian") are popular - to browse through those just search 'definitions tumblr' and look at them all lmfao until you find one that you feel fits
another thing is that you could literally just name yourself something simple that you like or that describes you etc?? like "bears", "pure", "gore" idk

I'm likely going to "fancypost it up" more and make it look nicer, add some soft colors and white maybe? Most of the time I spent last night with it was figuring out the colors and all the relationship and feeling terms and whatnot.

Also, about profile aesthetics, my username came from either a typo or autocorrect. I can't really remember but it's most likely the latter. My profile doesn't really have any correlating themes at the moment, haha.
