The story is really short and, hopefully, I'll be able to explain it well.

Basically, my grandfather, his girlfriend, and I had gone out to Cracker Barrel to eat. We were exiting the building and this lady and whoever was with her were walking out behind us. When the lady stepped out she stopped, looked around, and said "Wow, it's so humid out here."

But, she didn't say humid like you would normally say it. She said it like humm-id.

It's so hummid out here.

I swear I'm not making fun of her, she was probably from another country or something. I've just never heard it said that way before.
