He had troubled thoughts of him falling into that same pit of absence in which his Clan was left without a leader once more—but he was sure not to let that happen. He was used to residing in makeshift dens and dank caves, so living in a cabin came as a grand luxury to him. It just felt more pleasant to reside in, more than just the bare minimum to survive—though he supposed that he wouldn't need shelter at all, really, unless Mother Nature had other things in store, like a storm. But anyway, he wouldn't take the abundance of comfortable shelter here for granted. The territory itself was quite pleasant, a very tranquil and serene location. And surely there was an abundance of prey to be found here. Overall he found it quite easy to settle into the territory when he first arrived, and he could now regard it as his home. Eyeing the relaxed vixen, he shifted his weight from paw to paw, unsure of what to say as to not pester her. "Everythin'...alright, Olive?" the husky inquired softly, hoping he wasn't coming off as a mere distraction or nuisance.
