i'm pretty sure water wouldn't be swayed in the slightest by honeypaw? she's something of a deadpanner, and she doesn't really take a lot of attacks to heart, so anything honeypaw says will probably just kind of roll off of her. however, she's definitely of the mentality that blood doesn't make you a warrior, trying hard does, so so long as she thinks honeypaw's putting effort into her work, she really couldn't care in the slightest what her parents did.
