He watched him. "I didn't kill anyone." He said. "I just...Was homeless and used a lot of drugs and alcohol and dropped out of school." He said

He blinked. "I dropped out too, but I wasn't getting good grades so.. I gave up. Started working on the ranch and stuff. Ive got a part time at the gas station just up the road with Dallas.."

He watched him, nodding. "At least you're doing something. That's good." He said. He glanced ahead. "who's Dallas?" He asked

He blinked. "A friend of mine. We go to church together."

He blinked. "Oh. Is your family big church goers?" He aKed

He nodded. "Pa is. My mama my Jewish. Still is. Sometimes we go to synagog, sometimes church.."

He blinked, watching him. "Oh...That's nice I guess." He said. He looked ahead, lining. "So uhm...Your family since they're churhc goers...What are your views on people who are gay?" He asked, watching him.

He blinked. "My mama is accepting but doesn't like the idea of any of her babies being gay. Pa said he'd beat down any gay person he met. If his kids went gay he'd beat them straight.." he sighed.
