a small smile creeped along his face as he came to a standstill upon arriving at his fixed up little home. he leaned against the stone wall on one shoulder, arms crossed. ❝ go get your tennis ball, bud, ❞ he encouraged his companion. dogmeat happily obliged, finding the fluorescent yellow ball hidden in a bush and bringing it back to his owner. josiah happily took the toy from dogmeat and tossed it out across from them and chuckled when the german shepherd started at a run to catch up with it.
