[align=center][div style="width: 350px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.4;"]emery was assuming today was one of the nicer days the mountain has seen, it was still cold out enough for chills to be sent down her spine through her two coats whenever there would be a breeze, but it wasn't snowing and that was good enough for her. she grew up in a warmer area and even though she had left years ago and saw snow multiple times now, she still always intrigued when she got to it, like a little kid seeing snow for the first time.
she hummed lightly along to the song playing through her headphones as she walked. it probably would have been smarter for her to have a least one of the earbuds out of of her ears so she could listen and be alert, but in the end she didn't like that as much as having the music surround her, letting her sinking into her own little world.
green eyes looking around at the snow covered treetops, the corners of her lips turned upwards slightly as she took it all in. she was just planning on passing through, but all of the gorgeous scenery made her reconsider, debating the possibility of finding somewhere to stay so she could stay a few extra days to sketch it. emery began to focus onto the ground now, her pace slowing down as she noticed all of the footprints in the snow. she stopped completely, pausing the song on her ipod as she took out her headphones and put them in her pocket.
she scanned her surroundings, trying to see if she spotted anyone in the distance. she stood still and decided she would wait for a little bit, just in case the people she came across weren't very friendly.
