Absolutely brilliant!! The part where Gilgamesh went to see Kingu, both Kingu and Enkidu agreeing that their last wish is to see him at the very end and fulfill the latter's promise, and the flashbacks. You caught me off guard there - I was fanning my face so hard during the first one, and the second one broke my heart a little but it was so very pure that it healed itself almost immediately, lol.

if you read the iliad backwards, it's about a gay zombie who comes back to life to kick some ass and yell at his boyfriend until he makes up with his army's commander, causing a plague in the process.

meanwhile if you read the epic of gilgamesh backwards it's about a gay zombie who comes back to life to wreck shit with his royal boyfriend until they get into a wrestling match and break up, after which the zombie lives in the woods with a bunch of deer or whatever and the royal boyfriend starts banging other people's wives and trying to sleep his way through his entire kingdom, which is only slightly weirder than the actual plot of gilgamesh,,,
