    Greenie was hesitant. The very last place he wanted to be was in the Badlands on his own accord - the lair of the dragon. But, if they were to ever overlook their more than bitter pasts, Green had to man up and approach the Badlands in an attempt to reconcile relations with the other group.

Instinctively, Green found himself nearing Mick's side as he strode into Badlands territory, seemingly confident but internally his heart slammed against his chest with unease. He blinked as the glanced around suspiciously, slowing to a stop as he took one brief glance towards Mick before looking ahead towards the city. Well, Green was expecting disaster, if he was purely honest.

What had happened at the wedding was just between them. They didn't expect Green to make an incident about it, because surely the man knew that it wouldn't go over well. He hadn't won his throne by fighting a battle, he'd won it by challenging someone that couldn't be arsed. But Green knew what the Badlands rule looked like, and Cat doubted he was interested in going there again. Peace was better for the groups.

But personally? Cat hated his guts and they were sure the feeling was mutual. After everything he'd put Paige through, it had felt good to punch that fucker at the wedding. While not a scar, one very notable marking on their chest is the "BL" brand. They have two piercings, one in their tongue and the other in the cartilage of their left ear. They typically dress in dark colors (favoring jackets with some sort of writing on the back), and their hair is black. They're not all dark, however, as they have pale blue eyes that peer out from beneath medium-sized eyebrows.

— mick didn’t claim to know much about how another person felt, nor figure he knew what was going on in their head. however, as they made their way closer to badland territory, he couldn’t help but feel… relatively surprised at how put-together green seemed to be. as if he wasn’t heading straight towards a group that didn’t have the best reputation with northstar. he stared at the leader for a moment longer than he needed to before dragging it away. he instead followed suit and glanced around their surroundings.

it didn’t take long before cat made their way over. a name mickey had heard of, even a person he had seen from across the room at events, but a person he hadn’t truly met before. needless to say his and cat’s lack of history was more than made up for by the apparent history between green and cat. more history than mick was sure he could ever be aware of, and more than he would want to know too.

again, he decided to stay relatively silent - mainly giving a brief nod cat’s way in some short form of greeting.

    Admittedly, Green wouldn't dare tell anybody that he'd gotten into a spat with Catalyst at Molly and Austin's wedding - whether that was purely out of embarrassment or what - Green didn't know - but he would rather not let word spread of his situation with Paige.  Northstar didn't need to know about Green's personal life. Hell, Fallon couldn't know about Green's personal life; it'd be disastrous telling her about this little secret of his. And besides, despite his ever-long distaste for Catalyst and everything they believed in, it was far more beneficial for him to have at least a somewhat neutral rapport with the Badlands.

This was business, after all. Nothing personal.

Green showed his palms in an open gesture, eyes watching Catalyst's face suspiciously. ❝ I'm just here to do business with you, Cat. ❞ He retorted with ease, voice nearly sounding sing-songy as he spoke. Briefly, eyes turned to Mick, giving his friend a somewhat glum side-glance - sure, Green enjoyed conversation as much as the next guy, but any conversation with him and Cat ought to get sour quickly.

Green finally looked back at Catalyst before sighing, shrugging his shoulders, and then continuing, ❝ I'm only here to talk politics - trade links and whatnot - so I'm sure we'll make this quick.
